Summary of AlpArsalan Episode 1
The day the Seljuk Sultan Tughral Bay appointed his successor, he received word that the Byzantines had killed the Turkmen with a sword. He orders a campaign for Anatolia. Mysterious assassins attack Seljuk Meleks who went on an expedition. Signs of the attack take Alparslan (Barış Arduç) to a place he never expected.
While pursuing the assassins, Alperslan saved the life of Turkmen girl Aka, who had escaped persecution in Byzantium. It became the first spark of epic love between Alparslan (Barış Arduç) and Akça (Fahriye Evcen). However, Alperslan is unaware of the secrets behind Aka’s beauty. The Byzantine emperor sent General Ducas and Captain Romania Diogenes to solve the problems with the Turkmen. However, the mistake of Yance, the son of Annie Tecfuro Cicaminos, forces Sultan Tughral to decide the war. Alparslan, who was given the good news of victories in his childhood dreams, faced Byzantium in Passler with the Seljuk army.
